Getting Started

  1. Visit tagmyweb.com and click "Get Started" or "Sign Up"

  2. Enter your email address and create a secure password

  3. Check your email for a verification link

  4. Click the verification link to activate your account

  5. Sign in with your credentials

  1. After signing in, click "Connect YouTube Account" on your dashboard

  2. You'll be redirected to Google's secure OAuth login page

  3. Sign in with your Google account that has your YouTube subscriptions

  4. Review the permissions (we only access your subscription list)

  5. Click "Allow" to grant permission

  6. You'll be redirected back to Tag My Web

  1. Click the "Sync Subscriptions" button on your dashboard

  2. Wait while we import your channels (usually takes 10-30 seconds)

  3. You'll see a success message when complete

  4. All your YouTube channel subscriptions are now displayed

  5. Your tags and favorites are preserved if you sync again

Core Features

  • Click "Manage Tags" in the top toolbar

  • Click "Add Tag" and enter a tag name (e.g., "Tech", "Gaming")

  • Tags are saved automatically

  • To rename: Click the edit icon next to a tag

  • To delete: Click the delete icon (removes tag from all channels)

  • Tags are case-sensitive: "Tech" and "tech" are different tags

  • Click on any channel card to open the tag editor

  • Type to search existing tags or create a new one

  • Press Enter or click to add the tag to the channel

  • Add multiple tags to the same channel

  • Click the X next to a tag to remove it from the channel

  • Changes are saved automatically

  • Click "Select" in the toolbar to enable selection mode

  • Click checkboxes on multiple channel cards

  • Click "Add Tags" to add tags to all selected channels

  • Click "Remove Tags" to remove tags from selected channels

  • Select "Select All" to choose all visible channels

  • Click "Cancel" to exit selection mode

  • Click the "Filter by Tags" dropdown in the toolbar

  • Select one or more tags to filter

  • Toggle between AND (all tags) and OR (any tag) logic

  • AND shows channels with ALL selected tags

  • OR shows channels with ANY selected tag

  • Clear filters by clicking "Clear" or deselecting all tags

  • Use the search bar in the toolbar

  • Type any part of a channel name

  • Results update in real-time as you type

  • Search works with current filters applied

  • Clear search by clicking the X or backspacing

  • Search is case-insensitive

  • Click the "Sort" dropdown in the toolbar

  • Options: Name (A-Z), Name (Z-A), Subscribers (High-Low), Subscribers (Low-High)

  • Sort: Subscription Date (Newest/Oldest), Favorites First

  • Sorting works with filters and search

  • Default sort: Alphabetical by name

  • Click the star icon on any channel card

  • Favorited channels show a filled star

  • Use "Favorites First" sort to see them at the top

  • Filter by "Favorites" tag (if you create one)

  • Favorites are independent of tags

  • Click the star again to unfavorite

Advanced Features

  • Topic-based: "Tech", "Gaming", "Cooking", "Music"

  • Priority-based: "Must Watch", "Regular", "Occasional"

  • Language-based: "English", "Spanish", "Japanese"

  • Format-based: "Tutorials", "Reviews", "Entertainment"

  • Time-based: "Morning", "Evening", "Weekend"

  • Project-based: "Learn Python", "Home Renovation"

  • Combine strategies: "Tech-Tutorial-MustWatch"

  • Simple: 5-10 broad categories (good for 50-100 subscriptions)

  • Intermediate: 15-20 tags with subcategories (good for 100-300 subscriptions)

  • Advanced: 30+ tags with multiple tags per channel (for 300+ subscriptions)

  • Power User: Project tags + permanent tags (for 500+ subscriptions)

  • Start simple and add complexity as needed

  • Morning routine: Filter "News" + "Priority", quick 5-min scan

  • Learning session: Filter "Tutorial" + current project tag

  • Entertainment: Filter "Fun" + "Short Format" for quick breaks

  • Weekly review: Check "Untagged" channels, add tags

  • Monthly cleanup: Remove tags for completed projects

  • Quarterly audit: Review all tags, merge similar ones

Troubleshooting

  • Check internet connection

  • Disconnect and reconnect YouTube account

  • Ensure you granted all permissions during OAuth

  • Clear browser cache and try again

  • Wait 5 minutes if you synced very recently

  • Contact support if issue persists: support@tagmyweb.com

  • Sync again - you may have subscribed after last sync

  • Check if filters are hiding the channel

  • Use search to find the channel by name

  • Check if you're signed into the correct YouTube account

  • Verify you're still subscribed on YouTube

  • Check internet connection

  • Wait a moment - there may be a delay

  • Refresh the page to see if changes persisted

  • Try signing out and back in

  • Clear browser cache

  • Try a different browser

  • Clear browser cache

  • Close unnecessary browser tabs

  • Disable browser extensions temporarily

  • Try a different browser

  • Check if you're filtering 500+ channels (may be slow)

  • Use search instead of scrolling for large lists
